The success of a 21st Century Learning Conference depends upon having opportunities for all faculty members to play a meaningful role in planning and running the event. While getting an entire staff working together on this type of event may seem challenging, it's actually simpler than it may seem.
To begin the process, dedicate a scheduled time for professional collaboration - a faculty meeting, common planning time session, or professional development meeting - to creating workshops. During this time, faculty members will work together to build sessions related to their content that focused on the conference theme.
Using a Google Doc, interdisciplinary collaboration, and 15 minutes of work time, you can go from idea to action with 21st Century Learning Conferences.
